here’s an update on nashville startups.

a few updates from me:

i recently made 2 investments:

  • Amytrx Therapeutics. they are a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company advancing the next generation of new anti-inflammatory peptide therapies for patients suffering from chronic inflammatory diseases. i am certainly no expert in this space, but i am very excited about what my friend ania payne is doing to build the life sciences startup ecosystem in nashville through biohub nash and wanted to be a part of her first deal.

  • InRev. they are an automated surety underwriter with the founder jack genet. surety is a historically unsexy industry that has only recently started to slightly evolve with technology and i think inrev is in the best position to innovate it. last year, inrev 5xed with no sales efforts and is on track to do it again this year.
