Couple of upcoming events I’m hosting:

• Get Your Books & Tax $#*% Together for 2024 Thursday, Nov 2nd 4:30pm

  • Taxes are boring, but important. I know I want to pay as little as possible (with the IRS being cool with it lol). Tommy is really good at explaining taxes + helping business owners. We will feed you dinner too!

• Dumb Shark Tank Tuesday, Nov 14th 5:30pm

  • Come pitch silly, wacky company ideas for fun. Looking for food + drink sponsors.

As you might know, I’m now the ‘Capital Connector’ at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. I’ve been able to make 45 introductions between founders + investors who have opted into meeting them and have met with 28 new funds in the past 5 weeks. I’m really excited about what we’re building. So far it’s led to two angel checks, but I’m crossing my fingers for some companies in due diligence right now.

I am thinking of sending out a bi-weekly email where I give details on the investors I meet with + what they’re looking for. Only founders raising capital would be able to join this list.
