hi friends,

I am less than one week away from turning 30 😮😮😮 This week I am headed to NYC for the first annual preseed investor summit (:

Last week I was heads down building for most of it. Here's what I'm working on:

1) Founded in Nashville (powered by lt.house)

Lorenzo and I are vibe coding a website that will serve as a full Nashville startup ecosystem hub- a directory, a list of all Nashville founders that people can add themselves to, a calendar of every tech and startup event in the city, and a weekly newsletter that's just a clean bullet list of what's coming up. No fluff, just the info. I feel like this is a gap that can easily be solved!

2) A reverse talent portal

This one I'm really excited about. Instead of a company posting a job, I want talent to post that they're open to joining a startup, what they want to do, and why. Then founders can browse and find people who aren't necessarily job seekers, aren't blasting out resumes, but would say "hey, if the right thing came along, I'd make a move." Another vibe coded project (:

3) Figuring out new platforms

I'm very comfortable on LinkedIn and with my newsletter. Instagram, TikTok, and video content is a whole different ballgame. Been reading up on it and trying to figure out a content strategy that actually works for me on those platforms….more on that soon.

I bopped around town a ton last week too!

  • Watched the finale of ‘Dry Dock’ a hackathon for quantum companies at Vanderbilt

  • Was interviewed by Jason Reminick, the CEO and founder of Thalamus, at an event he hosted! Thalamus is the recruitment and application software for 90% of medical schools!! They raised a $30M Series B last year.

  • Hit the LaunchTN Open House!
